Starting the trail. For the first week I hiked with Sundown of 1footinfrontoftheother. Sundown is awesome, we both started the trail as solo hikers. This is sundown up the mountain from me.
Blood Mountain. We reached the top of Blood mountain right as a big storm came in. It got so foggy I couldn’t see more than 5 ft in front of me. Practically running down the mountain I almost missed the rain.
Neel Gap just after Blood Mountain is the only covered part of the trail.
